When do classes start?
Classes start on September 13th, 2021. Studio Calendar can be located in the My Music Staff Portal. All class information will be posted there. You can check back here for monthly updates on studio events and happenings!

How do I pay?
Payments are due on the 1st of the month. Late fees will accumulate after the 5th. During the month of September, grace will be given until September 18th (5 days after opening). Pay by credit in My Music Staff, or pay by email money transfer to cfperformanceacademy@gmail.com

How do I use My Music Staff?
We know the struggle of looking for information, losing emails, forgetting dates and missing payments. You never have to worry about being out of the loop with us. Our Parent and Student Portal is a time saver for everyone.
From the comfort of your home, cancel or book lessons, make payments, set up auto pay, check studio closures, recital dates, upcoming lessons, view lesson notes, and more.

To locate the app on your smartphone, click here & follow these simple instructions.

My Music Staff sounds great! Another question… What happens if there is a second wave of COVID and you are forced to shut down?
Taking care of our CFPA families is priority number one.

covid protocols

If a student tests positive or comes in contact with COVID-19, we have a studio policy outlined in the link here: COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

studio closures related to covid-19

Families will not be required to pay the full term fees if faced with another COVID shutdown. We will offer Zoom learning, or you may withdraw your virtual enrolment with 15 days notice (this is an exception to our 30 day notice policy).

How do I sign the Covid Waiver?
All of our currently enrolled students must sign a COVID-19 waiver to ensure families know the risks involved with participating in extra-curricular activities.
The electronic Covid Waiver is ready to sign:
CFPA COVID-19 WAIVER 2021-2022

What do I bring to class?
All Students should bring a bag with a water bottle to the studio. All personal items should remain inside of their bag to prevent losing important items!
Private Students should bring a binder for sheet music, or an iPad or Tablet for digital sheet music.
Class Students can wear comfortable clothing that they can move in. All notes will be posted digitally to a google classroom or emailed home to parents after class.
Dance Students may email us to ask which dance shoes are required.
Performance Students in our Broadway Division require a black jazz shoe and black base (black undershirt or leotard without sleeves, black pants or leggings, and black tight fitting shorts). A black base is needed under costume changes for performances, not required for class.

How do I leave the program?
Simply fill out a withdrawal form on our website, and you may leave the program with 30 days notice. Since CFPA uses prorated payment plans, if the client has received more classes than they have paid for, the client is responsible to settle the remaining balance on their account.

When are the recitals?
CFPA has three main performances through out a season. A winter recital in December, an end of season recital in late May or early June, and a Broadway show between March or April. Dates will be programmed into the My Music Staff Calendar and listed here in monthly newsletters. At this time, we are working on the dates for Songs From Broadway 6, as theatres still have restrictions.
