Songs From Broadway is Late Feb / Early March at Holy Heart, a show that is meant to mimic a traditional two and half hour musical, which includes attendance of rehearsals and tech week--and if you ask any student, it's where their favourite memories are made.
Tech week is a string of 4-5 days spent in the theatre as the sound, light and tech crew learn the show; it involves being adaptable, patient with wait times and understanding of long hours during the week, understanding that younger age groups will be given earlier call times. |
Our End of Year Cabaret will be an intimate performance experience where classes will present solos and group songs of a chosen theme. Students will have the choice to participate in Winter Stories & Song, a lessons and carols in December.
Biweekly Sunday Rehearsal: all classes of the same age co-learn the singing and stage movement for the show (so not to worry if your friend is a different class). Staging and choreography rehearsals will also be biweekly on Sundays; times to be announced.
