Staying Safe
CFPA Staff supervise and enforce these protocols every time students enter the building, however support from home is key!

• BRING A BAG: All students need a bag large enough to store all of their personal belongings (indoor shoes, water bottles, hats, gloves, music, scripts, papers and any other personal item). 
• CROSS CONTAMINATION: We need to prevent cross contamination. Remind your child gently: not to sit on benches where other student’s have hung their coats, separate their belongings, keep items out of the classroom and in their bags, and remain socially distant from others. 
• PLEASE RESPECT MY BUBBLE: As students make friends and become more comfortable in their environment and with their teachers, give reminders to respect other people’s bubbles, and to wear their mask at all times unless a teacher says it is okay to remove it. Teachers will instruct when it is safe to do so. 
• EXPERIENCING A COVID SYMPTOM: Take the self assessment to determine whether you should be tested: https://www.811healthline.ca/covid-19-self-assessment/ -- If you do not need to be tested after taking the self assessment, congrats! Please help us stay healthy by staying home until you are 24 hours symptom free. Please refer to our CFPA Covid protocols here: https://www.courtneyfowlerperformanceacademy.com/covid-protocols.html 
• TRAVEL: Please attend classes online if anyone in your household has travelled (or if you have been in contact with someone who has travelled), symptomatic or not. We want to protect our most vulnerable staff and students.  If you (or someone in your household, or someone you have been in contact with) have returned from travel outside the province in the past 14 days, you need to self-isolate for 14 days. ​
• ISOLATION PERIOD: Please continue learning in isolation via zoom, google classrooms, videos, memos, personalized Marco Polos, and more.
