Mixing Basics is a 12 week course that helps to introduce you into the world of mixing. Learn all the basics to begin your journey in the music engineering world. This course is designed for complete beginners and will take a deep dive into each of the core elements of mixing. Learn all about your DAW (digital audio workstation) and how to finish a complete song from start to finish.

enhancing your listening skills

Mixing basics is taught with real world scenarios in mind. Each class member will receive 10 songs worth of stems to practice and hone their skills. Feedback will be given each week by your instructor in order to better your ear. A key part of mixing is knowing what already sounds good. Mixing basics will also make a great effort to enhance your “listening skills” with weekly exercise and active listening. ​
